The barrels are knurled (rough) to assist the player in achieving consistent finger placement. This helps you to achieve greater accuracy as you hold and release the darts the same way with each throw. The darts are supplied in a hard sided Dart Master Holder in which you can safely carry a fully assembled set of darts.
